wear two ways | the 'pajama' trouser {look #1}

Since seeing the Marc Jacobs and Louie Vuitton pajama inspired looks on the runway, I've been wanting  to try out the look myself-- a scaled down version, of course.  Not sure if I could wear a pajama top AND bottom together...but, thank you, Marc Jacobs, for making the pajama pant chic again.  I am all for comfort and chic rolled into one.

 I stumbled upon these pants, tried them on, and fell in love.  It's important to always put your own spin on trends like this, and I think I definitely made it work for my style.

This is part one of a two part styling series with my new 'pajama' pants.  I know, the suspense is killing you...;)

This weekend, I wore this outfit to brunch and out shopping with Will.  I paired them with a simple striped tank, infinity scarf, and sandals.  What I like about these pants, in particular, is they have more of a trouser feel than some of the pajama-esque pants I have seen.  I like the pockets and the button closer, and  because they are high waist, I can tuck my shirt in for a more polished casual look---without looking like I just rolled out of bed.

Stay tuned tomorrow to see how I dressed these babies up!

Hope you had a fabulous weekend.
