I've completely fallen in love with this infinity scarf sent to me by Dottie Q.  Scarves are my go-to accessory in the colder months.....the cozier the better for me.  For that reason,  I love layering on chunky knits, like this green beauty.  Dottie is incredibly talented and I can guarantee you will love her Etsy shop!

   Her shop has so many beautiful and luxurious accessories that make for a perfect gift for you or a friend.  It's almost impossible to choose a favorite. I want them all!

Each of her cozy modern accessories is made with love and care from Dottie herself.   She does her best to use 100% organic, vegan, sustainable materials. Dottie also sends her accessories packaged beautifully in recycled mailing supplies.

{You're a cool girl, Dottie. :)}

Date Night Attire with Shannon and Alison

Hey there pretties!

I'm so excited to share with you a date night collaboration with Shannon and Alison from Itsy Bitsy Indulgences!

  Shannon and Alison are two incredibly stylish {and gorgeous} sisters from California who blog about their little indulgences in life, whether it be food, fashion, or fitness!  These ladies are experts at it all!  I think its so special that Itsy Bisty Indulgences is something they share together and that they both let their personalities really shine through.  You should absolutely add their blog to your daily reads if you haven't already. I'm such a fan, and I'm sure you will be too!

I love how Alison (right), Shannon (left), and I all unknowingly chose mini skirts for our date night looks!  Same concept, yet the looks are totally different!
The possibilities for a date night look are endless, of course--depending on the agenda.  Will and I have plenty of casual dates, but it is fun to get dress up once and awhile too.

For this "date night" look, I chose something that I could easily transition from work to a dinner date.  I dressed up this plaid pearl snap with a sexy leather skirt.  The leopard sandals are a little unexpected, but it makes the outfit extra fun.

Now, is it 5:00, yet?  I am so ready for this weekend to start!  Will and I are headed to Fayetteville to cheer on the hogs! WPS!

Hope you have a safe and wonderful!

Relocation News:  I am SO happy to inform you all that I was chosen to work as an Assistant Store Manager at the flagship store in Little Rock for a year! {Step 2 of the buying program I'm in}

All in the program got sent out to different cities {Memphis, Montgomery, Kansas City..just to name a few.}  We were all hoping for different things, but staying in Little Rock was what I was praying for.

  After only being in LR for 3 months, I can say that I am ecstatic that I don't have to move {AGAIN} and I get to spend at least the next year or so here.

Phew.  I can breath. {It's been a long few days}

Little Rock is the perfect location for me at this time in my life, and I am so glad God and I were on the same page when He decided this was the path that I was suppose to take.

Since I knew I was potentially moving in three months, I didn't really get "settled" here.
  Now, I can take the time to really decorate my apartment and make LR feel more like home!

So, its officially Fall. Woo hoo!  Sweater weather!

This Outlaw Dolman Sleeve Sweater from Maude was such a great find.  It's lightweight, over sized, and the perfect length.  Did I mention it's only $29?!  SUCH A STEAL.  I feel like this sweater will be a great easy throw-on for the winter months....perfect to pair with a coat, leggings, and riding boots.  Maude just got this sweater back in stock, so if you like, hurry up and snag you one of the many colors they just got in!

high pony positive

Hey there!
 Did everyone have a great weekend?

Mine was just what the doctor ordered.  A lot of relaxing and regrouping after a more than stressful week.

Did I mention to y'all that I'm being relocated at work?  Yep.  After three months as assistant buyers, those in the program are sent out to work as an assistant store manager for about a year before being pulled back as a senior assistant buyer.

I find out where I will be sent sometime this week, then I will have about a week after that to pack up, move, and start the new position.

Yes, I move in about a week and I have no idea where I'm going....
{feelings about this: nervous, excited, anxious, and stressed}

ANNND that's probably why Will was sweet enough to surprise me with a massage appointment this weekend.
He's seriously the best.

It was only my second professional massage I've ever gotten, and I don't know why I don't get them more often.  They are the best stress reliever!  I felt like a new woman afterwards.

I'm doing my best to go into this week with positive attitude and trusting God that everything will workout just the way He intended.

I will keep you posted on the relocation, but in the mean time...here is Saturday's ensemble, high pony and all.

I wore this top from Indigo  out last Saturday night in Memphis.  I adore the neutral color and the fact that it can add just the right touch of texture to a number of outfits. I look forward to layering once it gets a little cooler here down south. :)  But for now, its perfect for a fun date night or paired with slacks in the office.

Wishing you a safe and fabulous weekend,

wear two ways | the 'pajama' trouser {look #2}

Here it is! Look #2 with my 'pajama' trousers!  A simple tee dressed up with a fun head wrap and statement necklace.  I would totally wear this out or take off the head wrap and wear to work! I can say I proved to myself that the 'pajama' trend can totally work for my style.
