plaid joggers and a poncho

Sweater: Dillard's
Watch: Micheal Kors

Happy December, loves!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving with loved ones and survived any black Friday shopping that may have commenced.  I know I sure did.

It's no secret that plaid is a fall staple,
and these joggers have taken my love of plaid to a new extreme.
Ponchos on the other hand have become something that I have just recently become fond of.  I find myself gravitating towards them more than ever this year.
And this grey one is oh so perfect paired with these plaid jogger pants and vintage-inspired heels from Maude.
This outfit is truly comfort at its finest.

Wishing you a fabulous week.

The First Snow

Hat: Ruf fut
Jacket: Maude
Sweater: Maude
Jeans: Gap
Scarf: Target
Booties: Lucky Brand

This past weekend, AR saw its first sight of snow.
And wow, did it come early this year.
Will and I were leaving town from visiting my family when we spotted the flurries, and of course we had to get out and play in it for a few minutes.
Even though I'm a summer girl at heart, it hard not to get a little giddy waking up to a winter wonderland.

Another thing that makes me giddy is getting to stop by my favorite boutique, Maude, during my trips to Northwest Arkansas.
I left with so many pretty pieces, including this burgundy coat and plaid sweater.  Pairing them both
with my favorite boyfriend jeans made for a great outfit for the car ride back home.

If your are looking for a great statement piece for a holiday party, or Christmas gift for the girls in your life, be sure to stop by Maude or visiting their web store at!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Sage Threads & Co.

Tights: Foot Traffic
Boots: Lucky Brand
Purse: Tory Burch

Recently, one of my college friends, Kenna, opened up her very own online boutique called Sage Threads & Co.  She has filled her store with pieces that can help any women define her personal style, whether it be with classic pieces or stand-out accessories.  It is so cool to see my fellow classmates take off and make their dreams happen!

I happened to find this floral dress and yellow sweater coat really caught my eye.  I love mixing rich fall jewel tones together during fall.  Even though, black is of course my go-to color during these cooler months, it is so refreshing to throw on nothing but color.

I can already tell that this Honey Comb sweater will be one of my go-to pieces this season.  I have already worn it so much!  I think the slouchy style and big pockets may have something to do with that though.  Always a sucker for pockets.

Be sure to check out Sage Threads & Co. on Instagram and Facebook.
Sage Threads & Co. will also be offering an exclusive discount for you all! Enjoy a 15% discount on their website from now until November 30th.

Boots and Beanies

Boots: Cat Footwear
Hat: Ruf fut
Plaid Shirt: Target (sold out, similar here)
Jeans: Urban Outfitters (sold out, similar here)

You have to admit (especially in the south) that you can't beat the weather right now.  It is absolute perfection.  Even though I'm a summer girl, I do enjoy these October days that are brisk in the mornings and evenings, but wonderfully warm in the afternoons.

One of my favorite things about where I live is that the Arkansas River is right in my backyard.  When Will is in town, we love to take his dog, Bella down to the river, let her off her leash and run free while we sit back and enjoy the view.  That is exactly what we did this past Sunday.

Outfit of choice was ripped up jeans, a baseball tee, an extra layer for when the sun goes down, and these sweet riding boots from Cat Footwear.  These boots are made from the yummiest leather, and I love how they look a little rugged and distressed.  They are perfect for those casual fall outfits.  I have always known Cat Footwear for their working boots, but was so surprised when I checked out their website!  They have SO many cute boots for everyday wear.

Will and I also had some fun snapping of pictures of his new beanies for his adventurous life style brand, ruf fut ( Yes, in the midst of being in his third year of dental school, my beau spends his free time working on his brand. I'm so proud of how driven and creative he is.  Such an inspiration to me everyday.

And I swoon.  My handsome curly cue.

Jeans: Gap
Shoes: Dolce Vita
Necklace: Forever 21

I'm so happy to finally bringing a new outfit post to you today.  I know it has been a few weeks, and I am more than excited to get back to blogging again.  I am so grateful to have had some time ( and gorgeous weather ) to shoot with Will this weekend.
Every time fall comes around, I suddenly turn into a major jeans girl.  It seems like my go to uniform is jeans, a tee, and whatever other layers I feel like adding on that day.  This "Dream On" tank from Paper Doll Clothing Company is beyond precious and can add a little personality to any outfit.  I always love a good camo piece.   If you haven't heard of Paper Doll, you should most definatley check them out on instagram.  They're pieces are so fun and adorable, especially for the kiddos in your life!  I met Lindsay, the founder of Paper Doll through instagram a little over a year ago, and it has been pretty awesome to follow this sweet mamas journey through starting her company.  It really is inspiring! Cheers to you Lindsay and thank you for letting me rock one of your tanks!

Wishing you a fab week!
