So Set

Top: Dillard's
Skirt: Dillard's
Necklace: Forever 21

This past weekend, Will and I took a road trip to New Orleans to take part in one of his best friend's wedding festivities.  It was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings I have ever been to.  We had an absolute blast.  On the Sunday after the wedding, we did some exploring on St. Charles Street and got drinks at the cutest coffee place before heading back home.  I wore this black and white two-piece set that was super comfortable for the ride home.  (Ps-Currently 40% off on Dillard'!) I definitely think this set can transition into my fall wardrobe with tights, booties, and a blazer
...what do you think?

Boyfriend Jeans

Jeans: Gap

Shoes: BCBG via Dillard's (Sold Out, Similar Below)

Necklace: Forever21

Sunglasses: Crossed

I have been on the hunt for a pair of boyfriend jeans that didn't make me feel...well, like a boy.  I have always loved the relaxed and cool look of boyfriend jeans.  They are the perfect laid-back denim solution, and I was happy to find a pair that suited my body-type. The 1969 Denim in the "Sexy Boyfriend" style from Gap, fits slim in my hips and bottom...but still has the baggy, relaxed fit on the bottom.  I can't wait to style them with booties and fitted jackets for fall.

How do you where your boyfriend jeans?  I'd love to hear!

Coral Dress

Lipstick: Revlon in Siren

Well the long weekend has come and gone,
and it is officially September.
Razorback football, light jackets, and changing leaves will soon commence.

I can't believe how fast this summer flew by.
Don't know about you, but with how cool it was this summer I have a feeling this winter might call for some major layers and oversized coats.

As for right now, I will enjoy mixing my new fall finds with my favorite summer duds,
as the humidity this past weekend would only allow for it.

I love this light and airy Giani Bini dress from Dillard's I scored on sale last week (40% off, y'all).  It's far from anything else in my closet, but for whatever reason it caught my eye.
Pretty sure it was the gorgeous coral color and the fact that I needed something red-esque to wear for a "college colors" day at work.
Yes, my college colors are red and white (WOO PIG!)
but I loved this dress and coral is in the red family... right?
Whatever makes me feel better. ;)

On top of wearing it to work last week,
I also wore it out on a lunch date Sunday with Will and Bella (his pup).
We went downtown and ate on a patio by the river market.
We danced and played around until the rainclouds showed up.

And as seen below,  I of course couldn't miss my chance to do an impression of my favorite salsa shaking emoji....

( I had to.)
