Love Bug + A Special Gift.

Sweater: Banana Republic {similar below}
Pants: Giani Bini
Shoes: Lulu's (similar below)
Sunglasses: Armani Exchange
Watch: Michael Kors
Necklace + Pinky Ring: One of a kind, made by Will.

Pink and red is a color combo that I have always loved.
I actually never have considered myself a "pink person",
but I have been oddly attracted to the color lately...especially this pale/blush hue.
When I saw these pants, I thought they would be a perfect addition to my spring wardrobe.
They are dressy and polished enough to wear to work, and after getting them hemmed..I would totally wear these in the summer with sandals and a cotton tank-top.

On another note,
I have to gush for a moment and tell y'all about my special valentines day gift from my beau.
I posted about it on instagram, but in case you don't follow me here is the story...

A few weeks before Valentines Day,
Will had been telling me he was working on a project in his dental lab.
I didn't think much of it, nor did I ask many questions,
as he is always spends a majority of his time at school.
But little did I know, he had been spending it working on a gift for me.
A gift so special, it will be a hard to top.
My actual signature made into a necklace and a "CW" ring cast by him in sterling silver.
Who knew dental tools could be used for this?!
 Seriously, so amazing.
The time, effort, and thought he put into these pieces absolutely makes my heart melt.
So beautiful and incredibly thoughtful, I could not ask for a sweeter gift or better guy.
Love, love, love him, and it's safe to say I'm one lucky girl.

Okay, gushing over.
Just had to share that sweetness.

I'm putting this 'outtake' pic up for Will as a thank you for all the times has taken pictures for this blog.  There are many times I don't choose to use the pictures that are his favorite...the way too close up pictures where I am uncontrolibly laughing (or as I like to say "ugly" laughing) at him.  I really am super awkward in front of the camera, and he really puts me at ease, helps me relax and be myself. So, here you go, Will...your favorite from this shoot. Your welcome. ;)

Hope you all have a fabulous Monday!

A Sight of Spring.

Jacket: Langford Market {similar below}
Tights: Dillards
Sunglasses: Rayban

So the past couple of days it has been in the upper 60's here in Arkansas,
and I have been grinning ear to ear.
Especially because this winter has been quite a "doozy".
I am most certainly a warm-weather girl, and when that first taste of it arrives after winter,
I swear my spirit is immediatley uplifted and my personality becomes a little more fun. :)

I want to be outside every second I can, drive with the windows down, listen to music just a little bit louder, wear colors that are a little bit brighter.

For this sight of spring, I just had to bring out a very special dress from Maude Boutique.  They are known for their assortment of jaw dropping dresses,
but this one may be my very favorite I've seen thus far.
The print is everything, the fabric is fabulous and when I put it on, I feel like I am wearing a piece of art.  A piece of art that fits like a glove.
Thank you, Maude for always being so fabulous and for sending me such a beautiful dress.

I know these warm temperatures aren't quite here to stay, but these days {and wearing this dress} will be enough to tide me over until Spring officially begins.

What makes you most excited about spring?

XOXO.

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend celebrating Valentines Day with your loved ones.
I had both Saturday and Sunday off work, woohoo!
Will came into town, and we had a blast hanging out this weekend.
Friday night, we hung out at home, exchanged gifts, and then went out to a late dinner at one of our favorite Little Rock restaurants, Loca Luna.
Our goal was to avoid the crowd, and we definatly did just that.
It was such a fun and romantic night.

This was the outfit I chose to wear to our dinner.
I brought out this gold skirt, which is an old favorite, and paired it with a bright red sweater for work.
We had an important meeting, so I wanted to look both professional, and festive!
For date night, I paired it with this cute crop top I got at Dillards, and a trusty black blazer.
Of course, I had to carry my little lip clutch too.

Valentines Day... to Night

Hi lovelies!
So excited to share with my collaboration with the fabulous Tara, from Jimmy Choos and Tennis Shoes!  Tara is a fellow Arkansan who has impeccable style and shares the same love for blogging as muah.  You may remember our collaboration back in the summer {see here}.
I'm so happy I've had the chance to work with this beauty again, she's the sweetest.

Tara and I decided to show you both a day and a night look for Valentines Day.  I styled the day look, while Tara styled a gorgeous night look that you can find on her blog today.

Day look:
For the day look, I chose my new favorite high-waist denim from Maude,
and paired it with these cute Kate Spade Ked sneakers and fun pouch from Urban Outfitters.
I have always been a HUGE fan of pink and red together.
Valentines Day or not, I would wear this outfit out and about.  Whether it be on a brunch, shopping or movie date...you can't go wrong with denim and cute kicks.

To see details of how Tara styled her Valentine night look, head on over to here blog here!
