Eureka Springs Trip

Happy Monday loves!
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
I spent all weekend working, but luckily have both today and tomorrow off so I am heading to Memphis to spend a couple days with Will.

Today I'm actually sharing with you an outfit from my recent vacation.
Will and I took a day trip to Eureka Springs, one of my favorite places in Arkansas.
The town reminds me of my childhood,
and what I love about it the most is that it has not changed at all.
It is the perfect place for a day trip, when you just want to escape, explore, and relax.
The town is full of old Victorian-style homes, historic hotels, unique shops and lots of quirky people.
It is tucked up in the Ozark Mountains, and the drive alone is a sight to see.

I kept it super casual and comfortable as we would be doing a lot of walking in the super hilly downtown area.
{I really wish we would of taken more pictures, but we did so much walking it was probably better we didn't lug the camera around.
I paired them with a simple tee from the Gap, along with this neon scarf that I can't stop wearing.

Here are some Phone pics from the trip...
On the way there, we stopped at this old fashioned gas-station that made for a good photo-opp.
Bella's first elevator ride in the 1905 Historic Basin Hotel.
{Will changed his shirt in the car when we got there because it was chilly outside.:)}
We ate at Local Flavor and I ordered one of the most delicious meals I have ever gotten at a restaurant.  Grilled shrimp stuffed-avocado. YUM.  My mouth is watering just looking at this right now.

A Doll Dress

Bag: Celine inspired bag gifted to me by a friend, {similar here and here}
Heels: Target
Earrings: Maude Boutique
Necklace: Forever 21

Of course on my visit to Maude last week I found something I could not live without.
I'm in love with this Line and Dot Dress.
The neckline and print are so unique. {I'm always a sucker for a good print.}
It is called the "Textiled Doll Dress".
So perfect and exactly what it reminds me of...a dress for one of my dolls when I was younger.

I have a few weddings and events to attend this summer,
and I think this dress would be perfect for one of these occasions.
I also think I will be able to pair it with a blazer and flats for work.

I also found those gorgeous blue, green, and yellow earrings on my trip to Maude.
I usually am not an earring person,
they usually irritate me or I end up loosing one of them.
However, these were a perfect compliment to this dress and did not compete with the fun neckline!

How was everyones weekend?
I am sad to say my vacation is over and it's time to go back to work today.
Will and I had so much fun though....
being that we are in a long distance relationship,
it was so nice to get to spend a FULL NINE DAYS together.
We loved every second of it,
and I am definitely feeling rested and refreshed.

Another thing I am loving LNA sweater from Willow Boutique in Bolder, CO.
LNA makes amazing luxury basics, and this spring sweater is no exception.
 I had a lot of fun putting together this outfit...
mixing new pieces with some "closet veterans" as I like to say.
  I love tops that I can easily wear with a pencil skirt,
or throw on with my boyfriend jeans and sneakers..
and this lemon yellow color is so perfect for spring!

Wishing you an easy Monday!
 Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Friday Y'all!
So, yesterday was the first day of spring and I celebrated this past week by getting my hair lightened and a little spray tan at Crown Beauty Bar (My sisters salon) during my trip to Fayetteville.
  Nothing says warm weather to me than bronze skin and fresh highlights,
 am-I-right ladies?;)

I am excited to share with you my interview with Hello Luvvy today!  {click here to view}
Hello Luvvy is a new Arkansas based website for modern woman that share beauty, fashion, travel, food, and DIY inspiration. I'm sure you will fall in love with this site, just as I have!

In other fun news...

Recently, Blakeman's Fine Jewelry gave this Arkansan the opportunity to style some of their beautiful pieces from their Buffalo River Collection.  Blakeman's is a family owned business that has been apart of Northwest Arkansas for over 20 years.  The bracelet I'm wearing above is made in house by Josh Blakeman and is inspired by his love for the Arkansas Buffalo River.  This beautiful bracelet is made with sterling silver and the outline of the river is etched out and filled with turquoise.
  Any Arkansan would adore this collection by Blakeman's...you can view the collection {here}!

Well, I have to say, I have surely missed blogging the past couple of weeks.  Saturday marked my first day of vacation, but before then I was working non-stop!  Phew, I am so happy and thankful for this week I have to spend with Will and my family in Northwest Arkansas!  We even brought our pretty girl, Bella (Will's dog).  Unlike last year, we decided not to go on a "big" trip for spring-break.  Instead, Will and I decided to use this time to relax and go home to see my family in NWA.  Tomorrow, we are taking a day trip up to Eureka Springs, one of my favorite little towns in Arkansas.  I am super excited! It has been a couple years since I have been able to make a trip up there.  We will be sure to take lots of pictures!

 Thanks for stopping by today. :)
