Battle of the BB {Creams}

Over the past year or so, BB Cream's have been my "coverage" of choice.  They are the ultimate multi-tasker.  They even out skin tones, moisturize, and even protect from harmful UV rays.  I love the lightweight coverage they provide.

I have not become loyal to one specific BB Cream yet, but these are four that I have tried, and for different reasons, give my seal of approval.

1. Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream

Pro: Creates a flawless, "dewy" finish and reduces appearance of fine lines.

Con: Not the best for oil control

2. Benefit Big Easy "Bigger Than BB" Cream

Pro:  Blends well, controls oil, and moisturizes. It also helps fight free radicals! This is what I'm currently using.  I love Benefit products!

Con: A little goes a long way!  This one is thicker than the others I have tried.

3. Tart Amazonian Clay BB Cream

Pro: This one is formulated without parabans, sulfates, or phthalates.  It is also very lightweight!

Con:  Not the best for coverage, it is almost more like a tinted moisturizer..but I love it for summer time!

4. Clinque Age Defense BB Cream

Pro:  Great for age defense and reducing fine lines. It also works for oil control.  I used this for a few months, and liked it.

Con: This one did not blend as nicely for me, and has a very liquid-like consistency.

I love learning about new products, so if you have tried a BB cream that rocks your world, please let me know!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Pastel Pretty

Meet Jacqueline of Elematary Style:

So excited to share a little collaboration with the newly establish blogger of Elementary Style.
I love meeting girls who share the same love for blogging and fashion as I, and Jacqueline was no exception.  She is a sweet beauty with style, and I adore her blog!
Check it out here for details on her outfit.

Jacqueline and I decided to do a collab on what everyone seems to be drawn to right now...
 pretty, pretty pastels.
As I have said before, these soft feminine colors compliment almost every complextion,
and are super easy to wear together.
And, how great is it that pastels were on trend this past winter?
The pieces you have already bought will transition so perfectly into spring.

For the collab, we both decided to style a semi-monochromatic look.
I absolutely love Jaquelines skirt!
The way she styled it is the perfect mix of ladylike and cool.

I choose blush-tone pinks for my outfit.
It's so funny because I have NEVER considered myself a pink person,
but it seems to be all I'm wearing lately...must be a phase!

Here are some more picks of my pastel look...

Sweater: Forever 21
Skirt: E.Leighs Little Rock (bought in-store, but similar below too)
Shoes: 6pm.com
Necklace: Maude Boutique

Happy Thursday!

PS-Also Happy 22nd birthday to my baby brother, Zachary! Love you dude!

April Wish List

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6 //

Like a lot of girls I know,
my week nights consist of a lot of online browsing..
especially since I live by myself.
I have the TV on as background noise,
but before bed, you can most likely find my on my couch glued to my computer.
(Not saying that's a good thing, but it relaxes me and puts my mind at ease after a crazy day running around at work.)
During this time, I browse online stores, Pinterest, etc.
I repin, or save things that inspire me or that I would potentially like to add to my closet.

Here are some of my online picks for april that are jumping out saying "BUY ME CHLOE!";)
I have always been a sucker for a good print, and I have been seeing them everywhere lately!  Nothing says spring fashion to me like a bold, colorful print.
If only money grew on trees....
good thing I have a "virtual" wardrobe on Pinterest. Hah!

Season Transition

Spring in Arkansas makes for the perfect time to mix and match new favorites
with pieces from your winter wardrobe that your not quite ready to store away.

I have been far more ready for spring than Mother Nature...
which can sometimes cause dilemmas when getting dressed recently.

When I buy a piece I love, I can't wait to wear it...
but, if it sits in my closet too long,
I know it wasn't the best buy...or shall I say, an impulse buy.
If I love it, I will find a way to wear it ASAP.
This may be strange to some, but I know some of you feel the same way. ;)

In this case, I didn't care if it was barely 60 degrees outside,
I couldn't wait to wear this sheer lace maxi skirt from Steamroller Blues.
Definitely a good buy.
I have worn out to dinner, shopping, and even to work.
On this chilly evening, I balanced it out the high slits
and sheerness by pairing it with a sweater and booties.
Topping it off with a lightweight blush scarf from Willow Boulder
and a pretty lil' piggy necklace from Blakeman's Jewelry.
Spring-y, but still weather appropriate for a dinner date.

Sweater: Forever 21
Scarf: Willow Boutique, Boulder CO
Skirt: Steamroller Blues, Little Rock
Shoes: Lucky Brand {similar here, here, and here}

All White, Everything.

Who else can't get enough of white this spring?  I am seeing this trend everywhere and loving it...especially when it comes to accessories!
